Created out of unused Studio space on 2 levels in the spire of this Art Deco tower on upper Riverside Drive, this apartment enjoys exposure on all sides and includes 3 terraces and commanding views of the Hudson River, Manhattan, and New Jersey. The single greatest challenge was to create a sculptural stair comfortably connecting the 2 floors through a small overlapping area of only 12 square feet. The resulting layout places the Entry Foyer, Dining Room/Guest Room, and Kitchen on the lower level with the main Living Room, Office, and Master Suite above.
