One of the original Shingle Style "Cottages" built in Tuxedo Park for one of its founding families, this late 19th century house follows many of the picturesque details so popular to its even larger cousins constructed throughout the Northeast in the late Victorian period. As in all our period restoration projects, the house itself provided a model for a variety of detailing used throughout the renovation, including hand-made art tile, wooden cabinetry, period wall-paper, paint color, door and cabinet hardware, and salvaged light fixtures. |
