Projects Originally built in 1927 on a dramatic site in Bronxville, New York, this 7,500 square foot house is a classic example of Spanish Colonial architecture. An extensive and careful renovation for a family of five restored the house to an authentic period character by taking clues from those original details and materials still remaining. Such materials include random bluestone flooring, handmade glazed art tile, hand-troweled textured stucco, wrought iron sconces, salvaged light fixtures, chestnut floors, and mahogany windows. As is typical of our work, great care was taken to disguise modern infrastructure such as radiators and HVAC registers and returns.
